Meta is seeking a skilled and highly organized Program Manager to join the Assessment Operations & Programs team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for driving the strategic delivery of capacity and infrastructure programs that support Meta’s hiring goals, specifically in the mid-funnel of the recruitment process. The Assessment Operations team focuses on ensuring that Meta’s hiring infrastructure is scalable, efficient, and aligned with the company’s long-term talent acquisition strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

Stakeholder Engagement & Requirements Gathering

  • Collaborate with stakeholders from Recruiting, Business, and People Operations to fully understand the needs of aligned hiring pipelines and integrate these insights into the Assessment Operations programs.
  • Collect, prioritize, and document requirements for current and future programs, ensuring alignment with Meta’s broader talent acquisition strategy.
  • Act as a bridge between various stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and understanding of project goals, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Foster strong, transparent relationships with cross-functional teams, working to resolve potential conflicts and ensure consensus around key objectives.

Program Performance & Data-Driven Decision Making

  • Monitor program performance data on an ongoing basis, analyze trends, and forecast future capacity requirements to help shape program objectives and outcomes.
  • Use data to create actionable insights that drive continuous improvements in the hiring process, focusing on scaling and optimizing interviewer capacity, utilization, and efficiency.

Training & Development

  • Oversee the development and management of interviewer training paths, ensuring that new interviewers receive the proper onboarding and training to succeed in their roles.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to research and implement additional training programs and structures where needed, ensuring the interview process is both standardized and scalable across the organization.
  • Act as a mentor within the team, offering guidance and feedback to help peers and direct reports improve their program management skills.

Process Optimization & Scalability

  • Lead the creation of innovative, scalable solutions that improve efficiency across the recruiting process, particularly in areas related to interviewer capacity, scaling, and utilization.
  • Develop solutions that streamline the recruiting and assessment infrastructure, such as interview roles, question sets, and selection tagging.
  • Drive initiatives to implement structured changes in the interview process, including adjustments to infrastructure like interview workflows, technologies, and data systems.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth execution of these changes, aligning with both short-term and long-term objectives.

Relationship Building & Influence

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key leadership, as well as other cross-functional stakeholders, to ensure alignment and buy-in for the success of Assessment Operations programs.
  • Cultivate an environment of trust and collaboration, facilitating problem-solving discussions and resolving conflicts as they arise.
  • Provide mentorship and feedback within the team, fostering a positive and inclusive culture where team members feel supported and motivated to achieve their best work.

Leadership & Project Ownership

  • Take full ownership of multiple strategic initiatives, ensuring that programs are delivered successfully, on time, and in line with expectations.
  • Lead initiatives with limited oversight, driving execution while maintaining flexibility to adapt to changing business needs or unforeseen challenges.
  • Present key program updates and organizational content to leadership teams, providing clear communication on program status, risks, and outcomes.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education & Experience: BA/BS degree or equivalent experience. At least 6 years of experience in program management or operations, ideally within the tech or talent acquisition space.
  • Data Analysis: Proven ability to analyze large data sets, derive actionable insights, and use those insights to improve programs and decision-making processes.
  • Communication & Cross-Functional Collaboration: Excellent communication skills, with a proven track record of successfully building relationships and fostering collaboration across multiple teams.
  • Leadership & Influence: Experience influencing and leading teams or initiatives across organizational boundaries, with a focus on driving results and aligning teams around common goals.
  • Problem-Solving & Organization: Strong problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail. Proven ability to manage multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously, while prioritizing tasks effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Data Management & Tools: Experience managing and deriving insights from large data sets, with proficiency in tools such as Tableau to visualize and analyze data.
  • Global Project Management: Experience managing a global portfolio of projects with wide-reaching impact, ensuring that initiatives are tailored to meet regional or global requirements.
  • Advanced Project Planning: Familiarity with advanced project management methodologies, including both Agile and Waterfall approaches, to manage complex projects from ideation through delivery.
  • Recruiting Operations: Knowledge of recruiting operations, including familiarity with systems and processes related to talent acquisition and hiring.
  • Change Management: Experience leading or supporting change management initiatives, helping teams and organizations navigate through process changes or transitions.

Compensation:

  • Salary: $116,000 to $166,000 per year (based on experience and location).
